Sales & Shipping Information
All prices shown are in Australian dollars. Horse Connection accepts cash, money orders, direct bank tranfers, C.O.D. and Paypal (2% surcharge). Orders are subject to a deposit at time of order for items that are not in stock. Please see the ‘orders page’ for details. Balance payments are due in full before products are sent to you, once they arrive in Australia.
Please inspect your products upon arrival. Any damage to the products or manufacturing faults must be immediately reported to Horse Connection to arrange for a refund or replacement. We allow you one week from arrival of the product at your door to make your claim.
The Hidalgo saddles have a manufacturer’s warranty of 24-month.
Damage resulting from misuse, accidents or neglect of the product is not covered under any warranty. Cosmetic and appearance changes to the natural leather and sheepskin products are a fact of nature and are not covered under this warranty.
7 day return option
You are allowed 7 day’s from arrival of the product at your door to decide if you would prefer to return it for a refund or exchange. This applies to all NEW Hidalgo saddles in black or brown colour or a combination of black and brown. Some Merino products and special order saddles are not covered by the return option, please ask us if you need clarity on the option to return with items if in doubt. Returned items need to be clean, hair free, undamaged with no signs of use when they arrive back at Horse Connection in order to get a full refund. A full refund does not include any cost for postage. Items are to be returned registered with Australia Post. Please beware that leather gets marked easily if it is not packed properly. The Hidalgo’s come with a thick cover but care is still needed during packing especially if there are also stirrup irons in the parcel. Repair or reduction in value for damage (structural or aesthetic) or cleaning cost will have to come out of the refund.
I introduced the 7 day return option in 2004 when I opened my shop and it has generated peace of mind during purchase for so many horse lovers around Australia. A special condition I have is that if you run into questions with the fitting or feel of your new saddle please get in contact with me first (before asking your neighbor, trainer, friend or stranger on the internet for help.. lol) To take advantage of the knowledge of an educated dealer who sold you the saddle can reduce guesswork, frustration and assumptions… a lot
Limitation of Liability
Equestrian activities can be extremely enjoyable, but also dangerous. In no event shall ‘Horse Connection Kind Solutions Pty Ltd’ or ‘Horse Connection’ be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of its product(s). Buyer assumes all risks and liability from use of product(s).
Horse Connection reserves the right to change the terms, prices, conditions and notices under which their products are offered without notice. Horse Connection Kind Solutions Pty Ltd and Horse Connection are not responsible for any misprints or misrepresentation on their publications, including but not limited to advertisement, brochures, verbal and e-mail communications and website.
